Vil du kombinere solid økonomistyring og kontroll med tett støtte til ledere i drift og forretning?

Grieg Maritime Group eier og opererer skip i internasjonal fart og i europeisk kystfart, og utvikler nye satsinger innen blant annet karbonfrie drivstoff. Virksomheten vår spenner over ulike markeder, valutaer, regelverk og selskapsstrukturer – i en maritim næring som er kompleks og i stor endring.

Det stiller høye krav til økonomistyring og kontroll, men også til vår evne til å omsette data og økonomisk innsikt til gode forretningsmessige beslutninger og kommersiell verdi.

Som VP Business Support & Controlling får du lede et team på fem medarbeidere innen business support, controlling, konsernregnskap, rapportering og internkontroll. Sammen skal dere sikre kvalitet og kontroll i økonomistyringen, samtidig som dere utvikler funksjonen til å bli en enda sterkere partner for ledere i den operative og kommersielle virksomheten.

En viktig prioritet er å bringe økonomi og drift tettere sammen. Gjennom gode analyser, treffsikre prognoser, scenarioarbeid og relevant beslutningsstøtte skal du og teamet hjelpe lederne våre med å forstå utviklingen, vurdere alternativer og ta gode beslutninger til rett tid.  
Det handler ikke bare om å forklare hva som har skjedd, men om å forstå hvorfor det skjer, hva som ligger foran oss, hva det betyr for virksomheten og hvilke grep vi bør ta.

Du får også en sentral rolle i å modernisere og videreutvikle økonomifunksjonen. Gjennom bedre prosesser og smartere bruk av data, systemer, automatisering og AI skal dere forenkle arbeidsmåter, styrke kvaliteten og frigjøre kapasitet til mer analyse, beslutningsstøtte og verdiskapende arbeid.

En viktig del av rollen blir også å drive forbedringer fra identifisert utfordring til beslutning og gjennomføring. Du skal evne å se hvor virksomheten kan arbeide bedre, samle de riktige menneskene rundt problemstillingen og bidra til at gode analyser faktisk blir omsatt til tiltak og målbare resultater.

Vi ser etter en erfaren økonomileder med solid faglig fundament og god kommersiell forståelse. Du har erfaring fra komplekse, gjerne internasjonale virksomheter, og kan vise til resultater fra forbedrings- og endringsarbeid. Du kombinerer et godt helhetsblikk med nødvendig detaljforståelse og har gjennomføringskraft når noe skal endres.

Som leder er du tydelig, inkluderende og tillitsskapende. Du utvikler menneskene rundt deg og bygger gode relasjoner på tvers av fagområder, selskaper og kulturer. Du utfordrer konstruktivt og evner å gjøre komplekse økonomiske problemstillinger forståelige og relevante. Du ser økonomi som et verktøy for hele virksomheten og kommuniserer på en måte som skaper forståelse, eierskap og handling.

Du rapporterer til CFO og får en sentral rolle i den videre utviklingen av økonomifunksjonen i Grieg Maritime Group. Våre viktigste kontorer er i Bergen, Oslo og Manila.

# VP Business Support & Controlling

Would you like to combine robust financial control with a close partnership with leaders across operations and the business?

Grieg Maritime Group owns and operates vessels in international deep-sea and European short-sea trades, and is developing new ventures in areas such as carbon-free fuels. Our business spans a range of markets, currencies, regulatory regimes, and corporate structures – in a complex maritime industry undergoing significant change.

This requires strong financial governance and control, combined with the ability to turn data and financial insight into sound business decisions and commercial value.

As VP Business Support & Controlling, you will lead a team of five across business support, controlling, group accounting, reporting and internal control. Together, you will ensure high-quality financial management and control, while developing the function into an even stronger partner to operational and commercial leaders across the Group.

A key priority is to bring finance and operations closer together. Through insightful analysis, robust forecasting, scenario planning and relevant decision support, you and your team will help leaders understand performance and emerging developments, assess alternatives and make well-informed decisions at the right time.

This is not simply about explaining what has happened, but understanding why it is happening, what lies ahead, what it means for the business and what actions we should take.

You will also play a central role in modernising and developing the finance function. By improving processes and making smarter use of data, systems, automation and AI, you will simplify ways of working, strengthen quality and free up capacity for analysis, decision support and other value-adding activities.

An important part of the role will be to drive improvements from identified challenge through to decision and implementation. You will identify opportunities to work better, bring the right people together and help ensure that sound analysis is translated into action and measurable results.

We are looking for an experienced finance leader with a strong professional foundation and sound commercial judgement. You bring experience from complex, preferably international organisations, and a track record of leading improvement and change. You combine a broad business perspective with the necessary attention to detail and have the drive to make change happen.

As a leader, you are clear, inclusive and trusted. You develop the people around you and build strong relationships across functions, businesses and cultures. You challenge constructively and make complex financial matters clear and relevant. You see finance as a tool for the wider business and communicate in a way that creates understanding, ownership and action.

Reporting to the CFO, you will play a central role in the continued development of the finance function across Grieg Maritime Group. Our key offices are in Bergen, Oslo and Manila.
