NHC is seeking a dynamic Head of Finance and Accounting

Norwegian Hull Club is a world leader in international marine and offshore energy insurance, with offices in Bergen, Oslo and London. We know that our success depends on our people and, right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance and Accounting.

Who we’re after

In this role you will lead a small team, managing all accounting related tasks and actively collaborating with various business areas across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, your expertise and insights will be instrumental in not only delivering financial reports for The Club and its subsidiaries, but to contributing to the overall success of the organization as well.

Your main responsibilities and tasks will also include:

  • Preparing annual and quarterly financial statements
  • Preparing financial plans and monitoring actual development versus plans
  • Preparing other reports to top management and governing bodies
  • Participating in FSA / Solvency II and Standard & Poor’s capital reporting
  • Being responsible for office management in Bergen, Oslo and London

Ideally, you have a master’s degree in finance and/or accounting and have a proven track-record in the field. You possess strong analytical and management skills, as well as fluency in both English and Norwegian. We place great importance on a strong commitment to teamwork and a secure leadership style, recognizing these traits as essential for the success of our team.
